Learn About Our Mission
At The Chronicon Foundation, a vital initiative of Chronicon, our mission is to create lasting, positive change in the lives of those living with chronic illnesses. We do this by offering inclusive programs, meaningful community experiences, and accessible educational content that empower individuals to navigate life with dignity and connection.
We recognize that economic barriers often prevent chronically ill and disabled people from accessing the care and support they need. That’s why accessibility isn’t just a value — it’s a driving force behind everything we do. Through scholarships, subsidized offerings, and intentional program design, we ensure that our resources are available to all, regardless of financial status.
One of our most urgent initiatives is centered around economic empowerment. We are developing programs that provide financial literacy education and direct support in accessing federally subsidized programs that were created to serve this population—but are too often inaccessible or underutilized. Our goal is not just to reduce financial burdens, but to help our community members reclaim the economic relief and dignity they are deeply deserving of.
The Purpose of The Chronicon Foundation
To champion the well-being and empowerment of individuals navigating life with chronic illness by removing the financial and systemic barriers that so often stand in their way.
We are committed to ensuring equitable access to care, community, and opportunity through scholarships, inclusive programming, and financial education. One of our core priorities is helping our community understand and access the economic relief and subsidized programs that are intended to support them—but have remained out of reach for far too many. We envision a world where every chronically ill and disabled person has the tools, resources, and dignity to live a fulfilling life.
